Lee M. Elman
Lee M. Elman, in his thirty year career in real estate, has distinguished himself both as a real estate investment banker and advisor for U.S. and foreign investors, and as a principal, either as an investor in his own right or through EII. He has also negotiated the acquisition of properties abroad, both in Europe and Latin America. Well acquainted in international monetary circles, he has been active in organizing real estate transactions involving the conversion of foreign debt into equity investments, principally in South America.
Educated at Princeton and graduated from the University's prestigious Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. Mr. Elman is also a graduate of Yale Law School and a member of the bar of the State of New York.
As president of EII, he draws on his considerable experience in international Finance and real estate law. fIc presently serves as a general partner in numerous real estate partnerships. He is the author of Legal Considerations in International Direct Financing: Sources, Methods and Problems, as well as other works.

John W. Moss
John W. Moss (Harvard '81) commenced his real estate career 23 year years ago with Healey & Baker, an English firm of chartered surveyors, advising foreign institutional investors on all facets of US real estate. His six years with Healey & Baker focused on all facets of US property, from specific market studies and overall portfolio valuations to property development, leasing, sales and acquisition.
In 1988 John joined EII and moved out of the agency side of the business shortly before Healey & Baker formed its international alliance with Cushman & Wakefield. Since then John has been instrumental in EII's performance and growth, taking on more responsibility as the business matured and expanded into new areas.
As EVP and COO, responsibilities include sourcing properties, deal analysis, direct negotiation with owners, brokers, lenders and investors, overall deal structuring (especially debt and equity), property inspections, due diligence management and raising of capital from both debt and equity sources.
Once a property is acquired responsibilities include asset management, property manager oversight, reports to limited partners/investors, loan management and restructuring and, whenever applicable, oversight of leasing agents.
As EII moves into refurbishment and new development, responsibilities have expanded to include team selection, development oversight and management, RFP responses and lease negation with prospective tenants.
